Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Krystal Skull

I should have seen it coming how bad this movie was going to be. The name firstly, is so far-fetched that it is almost absurd for a video game. Secondly, when I saw the trailer I didn't get excited at all, which was strange as I love the first three movies.
Last night I saw Indy's fourth installment and was hugely disappointed even though I didn't have any expectations. The main problem I thought was a very bad script filled with flat characters and silly scenarios. The movie was ultimately a bad exercise in silliness. It wasn't spooky or exciting at all, just silly. Villain-hating monkeys, man-eating ants, guy swingin in trees like tarzan, natives who live in walls, a skull that looks like something out of a magic store, spaceship, dimensions and poor John Hurt wandering aimlessly around and taking part in the silliness. Not even Cate Blanchett could save me from boredom. Sad to say, Indy's fourth adventure turned out to be a big misadventure.
