Music in my head
Usually, not long after I wake up, some song pops into my head which I start singing in my head or in the shower. This is a farely reliable happening and I find it pretty interesting. It seems that these songs almost come out of the blue because sometimes they are songs I haven't been listening to for a while. Sometimes I even find myself shocked by the choice of songs my mind is making! For example, some weeks ago I started singing "It must have been love" by Roxette which has not been a favourite of mine but after that it became well liked, so to speak. This mourning my mind served me a Michael Jackson song: "Blame it on the boogie" which was quite fun. Its not very fun to sing so I turned it into "You are not alone" which I sang in the shower. My mind is not a bad D.J. but might maybe be offering some new stuff and maybe something not as mainstream. Oh yeah, now I remember, I was actually singing "Oliver James" by Fleet Foxes, either this mourning or yesterday mourning. So yeah, maybe it is becoming a little up to date. Can't wait to hear what my mind cookes up for me tomorrow mourning. George Michael? Weezer? Feist?
