Guitarless in Melbourne
Ohhh I really want to buy me a guitar. I went to a musical instrument store the other day and found this really cool and good guitar. It was a Yamaha and it was black. But it was 599 dollars which is 45000 kronur. That's quite a lot and with the continued falling of the Icelandic krona it's probably too expensive right now. Ástralski Dollarinn var í 55 krónum þegar ég byrjaði að umreikna á síðasta ári. Núna er hann kominn í 75 krónur! Þetta er ekki gott. Financially it is very hard being an Icelandic student in Australia. Maybe when I get a guitar I can start playing on the streets and people can throw coins in my hat. I could play Icelandic classics such as "Steel and Knife", "Nina" and "Under the blue sky". My encore would definately be "Nice weather for air attacks". Anyway I guess my next step is to check out a second hand guitar store. We'll see how it goes.
No Worries.
